Cardo swoops for wall insulation specialist SERS

The asset buy settlement encompasses each SERS Power Options Group and its Scottish arm, bringing the long-established insulation and retrofit specialist beneath Cardo’s umbrella.

Based in 1990, SERS has constructed a monitor file in exterior wall insulation and retrofit upgrades, working for councils and housing suppliers throughout England, Wales, and Scotland.

The acquisition marks Cardo’s newest strategic transfer, following its current takeover of Breyer Group’s roofing division from directors, a deal that saved 100 jobs.

Cardo, backed by personal fairness, has now made seven acquisitions since its formation two years in the past from social housing contractor LCB Group, aiming to help social housing suppliers with upkeep, compliance, retrofit, and decarbonisation wants .
