Navy Picks Eight Firms for $15B Pacific Deterrence Initiative Construction Contract

U.S. Navy officers chosen eight companies to compete for activity orders underneath a $15-billion, eight-year indefinite supply/indefinite amount multiple-award building contract for design-build and design-bid-build tasks. Capt. Brandon Casperson, director of the Indo-Pacific Command engineering division, stated in an announcement that the contract “streamlines the acquisition course of for main infrastructure tasks, enabling sooner execution of important posture enhancements throughout the INDOPACOM space of duty.”

NAVFAC Pacific additionally awarded the primary $116.3-million firm-fixed-price activity order underneath the contract to ECC Expeditionary Constructors LLC.
